there are many ways for the people to learn English and there are other places for them to build the center: http://www.landwatch.com/NewYorklandforsale

and not all Muslims speak Arabic, also the fact that the financier of the center has ties with Muslim extremists, this shows that this center could potentially put people in more danger

They are living in the U.S if they don't feel comfortable that doesn't mean that they have the right to disrespect the people who were affected by the attack. 2 blocks are not far at all and there are other mosques, schools, and health clinics in the U.S that would meet their standards. There is no reason for them to build a mosque so close to where the attack was, they can build it somewhere else.

the reason people are being deported is because of the safety of the country. the country is trying not to let the same kind of events as 9/11 happen again, building a Muslim community center near a place that has been attacked by Muslim extremist would make many people infuriated. It would be insensitive to build a Muslim community center near ground zero due to the Muslim terrorist attacks that cost so many people their lives on 9/11. It would put the people of America in harm's way because it can start a lot of commotion because so many people lost their lives in this attack. therefore it is best for them not to build a mosque.

There are other places where they could build a mosque it doesn't necessary have to be where Muslims have committed a crime and murdered hundreds of people. It would be very insensitive to the survivors of the attack and the friends and family of the people who lost their lives in the attack. Also, the attacks were committed by Muslim terrorists and allowing for this Muslim community center to be built will certainly spread radical Islamist ideas or thoughts, and further endanger our security and well being.

Argument #2:

If the Ground Zero Mosque gets built, whether if it was with good or bad intents, American non-Muslims will take it negatively. Since the 9/11 attack was done in the name of Islam, the people will not be enthusiastic with an Islamic community center being built near it because ground zero is a memorial place where the families and friends of people who have been murdered can come to commemorate. It would be very upsetting and it would bring up bad memories for the friends and families who have lost loved ones in the attack and even survivors. The result of this is that the people will not think very highly of Muslims. This will lead to hatred, anger, and division which is all unnecessary.
